Apple had recently launched most powerful
iPhone till date –iPhone X. The iPhone contains many new features, design and
technology than other iPhone models. One new hardware feature is screen which
is OLED made unlike other iPhone models like iPhone 7/8 where LED screens are
used. However this OLED screen has been reported with display issues like
bluish or yellowish screen. iPhone X display is head on there is an almost
yellow or blue tint to it; when turn/tilt it to the side it is obviously much
more white.
Apple has released a support document on this
issue. Saying it is not a defect, and that it is 'normal' with OLED to
experience a colour change when viewing the phone at a slight angle. However
for many users this is bothering and
annoying as such costly phone has very basic display issues. Similar issues
were reported with Google pixel 2 with bluish screen OLED. Goole too had denied
this as issue in the Pixel 2 but declared it as OLED screen thing.
“That's normal for OLED (not the yellow) but
the bluer / cooler tint to the screen. When you shift an OLED panel off centre
it will display a cooler colour.”
Some expert says that’s related to OLED
technology.
All Samsung S8 displays are just like that.
It might vary the tint when the display is presented, from white, to blue or
green. But facing the display, it has a very characteristic yellow tint.
However if you too are facing the issue and
feeling issues with it you should try below listed possible fix or workaround
for iPhone X blue screen issue.
Solution 1 : Set - Colour Filters
The best option I have seen is to change the
hue to counteract the yellowness of the display, this in turn means the off
angle colour shift is less noticeable - although you you look closely you will
find that issue is still there!!
Go To-> Settings - General - Accessibility
- Display Accomodations - Color Filters
Then select 'Colour Tint' and move the hue
2/3 of the way.
Solution 2: True Tone Settings
Turned True Tone off on your iPhone X. As the
screen sometimes fees like Night Shift mixed with True Tone, which adds a
noticeable yellow colour. Turning this feature off may give better results.
Makes the OLED of the X pop.
Settings > General > Accessibility >
Display Accommodations > Color Filters.
Not very sure if Apple is going to look at issue and find an alternative to this as there are no official statements release by Apple for iPhone X screen color issue. As Apple have already produced million of iphone X copies.
However this is for sure that many users are not liking this and may want to return their devices.

the solution is to make a yellow wash to the screen.
open true tone and night shift and put it on the high warm. put the brightness on high.
leave the iphone like that about half an hour preferably with a white background.
after that close true tone and night shift and look the screen and you love what you see. a nice white screen with no yellow at all.
do it again after a while and the yellowish disappear forever.
