How to show steps on Fitbit Alta display rather than Kg

Many Fitbit Alta users have a question about changing "steps" from Kg to steps shown on display screen of Fitbit.  How to make Alta show steps always is still a big question for many users?  Is it possible for the Fitbit face to show steps as steps? As there does not seems to any setting by which you can change K to steps count in Alta.

Actually the Alta does not show kilograms or kilometers at all.  It always shows steps. In case you want to show actual steps on Fibit Alta you need to choose horizontal cock face rather than vertical face. On the vertical screen steps are rounded to the nearest 100 up to 10,000 steps and to the nearest 1000 steps after 10,000.  To make is understandable and fit to screen on the vertical clock face the k stands for thousand, as in 3.3 k is 3300 steps.  On the horizontal face you will see the exact number unrounded as 3300 steps.

Please note Alta comes with several clock faces available in horizontal and vertical styles. If you use a vertical clock orientation your numbers may be truncated.
