iPhone XS Max users keep complaining about iPhone XS
Max dropping calls regularly. This is not only problem with iPhone XS but many
users are facing poor signal issue in the phone. Call drops after connecting
for a few seconds. When contacted the service providers like Verizon etc, they
are not able to find out anything that why iPhone XS Max keeps on dropping
calls. Even when reboot the iPhone and it will works for a little while and
suddenly starts dropping calls again.

The call drop seems to be issue in iPhone XS Max as
updating the iOS, resetting the iPhone does not seems to fix the issue at all.
What is more interesting is if you insert the same sim in older iPhone 6, there
will be no call drops but you can see
significant number of call drops in iPhone XS Max. Same issue is causing even
to send SMS on the network. The SMS delivery fails in iPhone XS Max for many
users. This is very serious issue for iPhone XS max users as such an expensive
phone is giving issues in basic phone features with latest iOS 12.1.4 and iOS 12.2.
How to fix iPhone XS Max call drop issue:
Workaround 1: Toggle Airplane mode
Just turn Airplane Mode on for about 15 seconds and
then flip it back off. This should fix the issue but it is expected to drop
calls again after sometimes.
Workaround 2: Chose LTE mode
Go to settings -> cellular -> cellular data
options -> make sure enable LTE is on data only. This seems to fix issue for
many users. Please give it a try to fix iPhone XS Max dropping calls randomly.
Workaround 3: Update the iOS
Apple is usually aware of this issue as many of the
users keep complaining about these bugs through various platforms. Apple will
be fixing these issue permanently in upcoming releases of iOS 12 and you should
always be updating to next version of iOS 12.
