Apple
have released it one of most powerful featured iPhone XR,XS Max, X recently with very new
technology in it like FaceId, OLED scree etc. Some of the technologies offered by Apple in this iphone XR, X is
quite innovative and new in the market. The iphone X is made more intelligent
and made to understand your habits and requirements
and act according to that. However with the new iPhone X some users are facing
issue with Ringer volume when a call comes. The issue happens like, sometimes
the iPhone X ringer volume goes very low and not able to increase the volume so
it stays louder.

Further when user
receives a call the volume is low and goes even lower on subsequent rings. Many
users reports it as fluctuations in volume when iPhone rings. So while call is
ringing the iPhone, the user try to attempt to use the volume up button to
increase the Ringer volume it increases the Volume for the sound but NOT the
Ringer. It may appear to be issue when ringer volume is not working in iPhone
X.
So what
is the issue with iPhone XR, XR , XS Max ringer volume : iOS 12 / 12.2
Actually
this is not an issue with iPhone X or XR but it’s a feature to avoid unnecessary
sound created by phones when not needed.
iPhone
X lowers ringer volume if its face detection algorithm determines that you’re
looking at the phone, in which case an audio cue is no longer needed. However
since it is based upon the FaceID feature , iPhone X should ring normally
when the screen is off, or you’re not looking at it.
In case
you don’t like iPhone X auto controlling ringer volume, to turn
off this feature you have to go into Accessibility and turn off
the bottom "Attention" setting. Then, the ringer will set to max volume and whenever you receives any call the iPhone X will ring at same sound level without ant fluctuations.
(STEP: Go To settings ->press on face Iid&passcode->then close the button:(Attention Aware Features.) Once you have done that the ringtone should not lower).
Clearly Apple is coming up with great innovation in the market which will take some times for users to get comfortable with.

To fix low ringer volume on iPhone XR and XS Max:
Go to Settings, scroll to Face ID & Passcode, then
scroll to where it says Attention Aware Features. This is automatically on.
Switch it to off. Try getting a call after changing this setting.
