After
iOS 12.4 update many iPhone 6s/7/XR/XS users are facing issues with signal strengths
and network stability. After iOS 12.3 update signal on your iPhone to "No
Service" then sometimes the signal appears and disappears again. It seems
that with new iOS 12.4 update the signal in your iPhone will not work properly
and signal will keep on dropping with iOS 12.4.
The loss of signal in iPhone was not seen with earlier version of iOS. In
the iPhone you will see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad. The
same sim wokrs well with the other iPhone but older iOS versions like one user
reported :
“iPhone
6. I swapped the sim to another iPhone
6 with 12.2 and it works. The iPhone
with 12.4 won't connect to cellular network.
I just get "No Service" or "Searching". I also tried all the steps in the first
reply.”
iOS 12.4 no service on iPhone 6s |
In
the earlier version of iOS 12 you could change network selection from automatic
to carrier (under mobile Data settings).
It seems that this option is not there after 12.4 upgrade. Quite possible that automatic
selection is not working correctly on the iPhone.
