| iPhone X swipe up to close apps not working on iOS 13 |
With all these new feature Apple is ready
to impress the users but at the same time the new iOS 13 does not seems to be
stable as iOS 12. Lots of complaints are getting received from the iPhone users
with basic functionality broken.
One of such issues is faced by iPhone X
users where swiping up the apps does not close the app, or remove the app from
RAM. When user open list of opened apps, there is no way to swipe up and close
the app on iOS 13 with iPhone X.
This is an annoying bug as if users wants to
get rid of the app completely by closing it, iPhone users will have to restart
the iPhone everytime. The issue seems to be widespread. The iPhone users have Tried restarting, rebooting, and erasing the phone but nothing
helps to fix the issue permanently.
How to fix iPhone X swipe up to close app not working on iOS 13 :
Many iPhone users have reached Apple for
reporting and fixing the issue but the Apple support is not able to rectify the
issue and stating that it can be hardware issue. But seems more like a bug in
iOS 13. Hopefully it gets fixed with iOS
13.1
Workaround : Use Assistive Touch
Until Apple comes up with permanent fix for
the issue you can use AssistiveTouch to get a software Home
button (Go
to Settings ->
Accessibility -> AssistiveTouch).
Hopefully
this will save lots of time.
