iPhone Gamepad controller not working after iOS 14/ 13.4 update


 iPhone 11 Pro Max/ XS MAX/ XR are one of the best gaming phone with A 13/ A12 bionic chip in them. However as a game lover you might be interested to use Gamepad controller with iPhone to play Games.  
Many iPhone users are facing issue after updating to iOS 13.4 that the Gamepad controller stopped working after updating iPhone with iOS 13.4. According to gamepad manufacturer a bug in the data interface of iOS 14/  13.4 caused the gamepad to stop work.




One of the Apple user reported this as
i am a mobile game player. Due to my clumsy operation. I purchased mobile gamepad digifly wasp 2 to help me control the game better. But since upgrading to 13.4 my gamepad can't work.”

 Trouble shoot to fix Gamepad not working with iOS  :

Pair or unpair a controller with your iOS device
1.    Begin with your controller turned off. Then to put your controller in pairing mode:
·       With an Xbox Wireless Controller, press the Xbox button to turn on the controller. Then press and hold the Connect button for a few seconds.
·       With a DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller, press and hold the PS and Share buttons at the same time until the light bar begins to flash.

2.   On your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, tap Settings. 
3.   Select Bluetooth and check that it's turned on. 
·       To pair, find the name of your controller under Other Devices. Tap the name to connect. 
·       To unpair, tap Information  next to the name of the device, then tap Forget This Device.  


How to fix Gamepad controller not working with iOS 14/ 13.4



·      We lately observed some issues with Gamepads. Indeed, they are not recognized in Shadow parameters
·      You can try to restart your Shadow to solve the issue.
·      You can also try to swift the version of your Shadow app to force the Gamepad drivers to reinstall: to go from the official version to the beta for example.

·      This last workaround is also solving the issue for some users:
·      Unplug your Gamepad
Inside Shadow, open a command prompt as an administrator: click on the Windows button and type in 'cmd'. Right click on "Command Prompt” and choose "Launch as Administrator"
In Command Prompt, you should copy the following command: MsiExec.exe /x {37FD52BF-1242-4404-82A3-0ABC2F2ECDBB}
Press "Enter" to validate
Restart Windows inside Shadow



·      After the restart, you should let some time before using the Gamepad. This will allow the Shadow components to start, and it takes around 5 minutes.
·      After these 5 minutes, you can retry using the gamepad.
