How to fix Apple watch not pairing with iPhone 11 Pro



Many iPhone 11 users are facing issue in pairing with iPhone 11 Pro. The Apple watch won’t pairing with iPhone 11 Pro and every time when you will try to pair with iPhone 11 and won’t pair and give error that says “Please try again”. But even after so many attempts the iPhone 11/ XS Max won’t connect to Apple watch. The iPhone 11 is running on latest iOS 13 but still apple watch not pairing with iPhone 11.

In some cases it seems like that the Apple watch series 3 won't pair iOS 13, as some of the iPhone 11 Pro and XS Max users on iOS 13 are not able to pair to Apple watch.
When trying to reconnect old watch 3 series as a new watch to her iPhone 11 Pro Max,  it said it was unable to Check for Update. And stays there forever and struggling to pair Apple watch.  


In some cases the Apple watch immediately terminates pairing and in some cases apple watch taking forever to pair with iPhone 11. Sometimes the Apple Watch app is stuck on “please wait” on the main screen, some times the Apple watch says “not connected to the internet”?”., Sometime Apple watch says “unable to update” and wont update. The issue is mainly faced with Apple watch series 3 and iPhone 11 and watchOS 6.



How to pair apple watch with new iPhone

In case you are paring an old Apple watch with new iPhone 11/ XS MAX. Please follow below steps to unpair and repair device to new iPhone 11:

Make sure to keep Apple Watch and iPhone close together as you unpair them.
·      On your iPhone Apple Watch. In  My Watch -> tap your watch at the top of the screen. 

·      Tap the info button i next to the watch that you want to unpair. 
·      Tap unpair watch
·      Please note if you are using Cellular version, choose keep or remove your cellular plan. In case you want to pair Apple Watch and iPhone again, keep your plan. If you don't want to pair your Apple Watch and iPhone again, remove your plan.
·      Confirm by adding your Apple id and password.
·      To pair the watch again  set up your Apple Watch 


-On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen. Tap the "i" icon  next to the watch that you want to unpair, then tap Unpair Apple Watch. Tap again to confirm.


How to fix Apple Watch not pairing with  iPhone 11 Pro/ iOS 13:

Fix 1: Reset the Apple watch to factory setting




One of the most effective way to pair Apple watch series 3/4/5 is to reset the Apple watch with factory setting. This will reset the Apple watch to default setting .
On Apple Watch-> tap Settings -> Tap General > Tap Reset > Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
For Apple watch GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep or remove your cellular plan. If you want to pair your Apple Watch and iPhone again, keep your plan. 
Now Tap Erase All to confirm reset. This will resets Apple Watch to the factory settings.
Now try again to pair watch.

If this still does not work, we request you to reset the Apple watch again multiple times and check if that pair with iPhone 11.


Fix 2: Reset Network Setting

If you are pairing your iPhone 11 Pro Ma / XS with old Apple watch and it is not working, in this situation you should try to reset network setting of your iPhone to recognise the Apple watch.


To reset iPhone 11 network setting->Tap Settings on iPhone > General, then scroll down to the bottom to see the Reset option. Tap Reset, and then look for Reset Network Settings. Your iPhone will reboot now. Note you won’t lose any data during this process.
After the network reset is compete, try to pair the Apple watch again.   

The iPhone will go offline for 30 seconds while it resets. Log back into the phone after it resets and go to apple watch app and then start the pairing process. You may need to update the watch before it will finish pairing.

Fix 3 : Set up as new watch
If you still not able to pair iPhone 11 with Apple watch series 3/4, than one more way to fix the issue is to setup your old Apple watch a new watch .
-Reset your Apple watch and when it resets next time follow the pairing process.
-At the screen where it wants to "restore from backup"/"select as a new watch" ,do "select as a new watch".
-Upgrade the watchOS to latest version.
-The Apple watch should update successfully and should pair up with iPhone 11
