In the latest iOS 14 many iPhone users are facing issue while creating an email that while attaching a photo or picture to email (Hotmail,outlook etc) the photos are getting embedded in the email other than shown as attachment. Try to simply share the photos the photos of getting in line in the email body. Since the photos are embedded in the email body therefore it makes very difficult to write something in the email body.

The image is getting a embed in the email is highly inconvenient for the readers also, sometimes it takes a while to load the pictures or output a content error within your mail application. Further , instead of a single click to "download all attachments" in Outlook, must right click each jpg individually in the body and "save as". It takes lots of time and patience and there is slight chance of missing important image . Who is even reported with latest iOS 14.4 where images are still embedded in line in the body email.

There is no permanent workaround or fix from Apple side, however we have tried to figure out some of the possible workaround to fix the solution. Please try them and let us know in comments section whether it helps or not.
Fix 1: Use Microsoft Outlook app for iOS / iPhone
One easy workaround to send photo as attachment rather than embedding is to use Microsoft outlook app for the iOS. The app is free to download, does not require any Microsoft subscriptions for its use and can support multiple mailboxes hosted in Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Office 365, Outlook.com, and iCloud.
Fix 2: Send as Text message first
There is one another workaround to fix that issue is to create a text message first and then try to attach the photo from your gallery. In this way when you tried to upload the photo to email it will be attached to the email rather than getting embedded in email body. Also this is very convenient if you have multiple images to send
Fix 3: Use Send as attachment in Gmail
If you are using Gmail, then one of the easiest ways to try to fix this issue is to choose the ‘Send as attachment’ option .
By default, if you attach an image in Gmail, it will be embedded into the body of the email. However, you can attach the image by double-tapping it instead, then choosing ‘Send as attachment’ options.
Fix 4: Attach One seconds video first
There is a very simple workaround which includes attaching a short video like 1 sec to the email first and then attaching the images. In this way all the images are attached to the email. And later on you can delete the one second video.
