Many iPhone 12 Pro Max users are facing issue while placing calls, FaceTime call that while iPhone 12 is kept on speaker mode there is lots of cuts in the audio. In the speaker mode iPhone 12 user are not able to speak properly. In the speaker mode the Sound begins to cut in and out eliminating voice at times, which makes it difficult to talk in speaker mode.

The issue seems to be prominent in Iphone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 11, the sound quality during phone call is very bad in speaker mode. The issue is happening across different devices like FaceTime, Facebook /Whatsapp video calls etc as well. Many users who updated their iPhones to iPhone 12 are now reporting this issue that iPhone 12 cuts out during my speaker conversations.
As of now there is no official acknowledgement from Apple side but affected users are desperately waiting for a permeant fix. Making calls via speaker is just impossible as the other call party will not hear complete words. How to fix Audio cuts in speaker mode on iPhone 12 Pro Max, 11 : iOS 14/15
Fix 1: Turn off WIFI
Some iPhone users after turning off the WIFI on speaker mode found that their voices are much clear to hear on speaker mode. Turning off Wifi makes audio work for the other person.
Fix 2: Avoid using max volume
Turning down the volume a bit and not using max volume in speaker mode seems to be a workaround . So as a quick fix to the issue you can use this tip.
Fix 3: Turning off noise cancellation
Nosie cancellation helps to clear out the audio, but in some cases turning this feature off is helping in clear voice. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual. Turn Phone Noise Cancellation on or off.
Fix 4: removing my phones case
If you are are using any case which is blocking your mic, can cause such issues. Please try to make calls without any case and check if this helps.
Fix 5 : Ask for replacement
If still you are facing issue in iPhone 12 on speaker mode than you should visit the Apple customer care centre and ask for replacement. But please note that many users who got replacement for this issue are still facing issue in new set.
