Fix 1 :Turn off Attention aware settings
iPhone can control notification sound level from the FaceId settings. If you are looking at the iPhone the Ringer and the notification will be lower in volume . if you don’t want this feature you can disable this. Go to Settings>Face ID & Passcode>Attention_Aware Features, then toggle to "Off"
Fix 2 : Make sure to turn on the Notification Settings
In iPhone Settings -> go to “Notifications” and turn all settings “On,” for all Sound, Banners and Badges.
Fix 3 : Turn ON Change with Button settings
There is another setting that is important to set notification sound level. Go to-> Settings > sounds.
There’s a volume slider and a button that says “change with buttons.” Make adjustments to the setup you have there.
Fix 4: Update the iPhone to latest iOS version
If iPhone volume is not consistent as per setting then this could be bug in the existing iOS version. To fix such bug you should keep on updating your phone to the latest iOS version. Please check for pending update for your iPhone.
