Solution 1: Use Light Mode
The purple lines on iPhone 12 can be dimmed using light mode in the iPhone. Rather than using dark mode, instead you can use Light Mode.

- -Scroll down to the header which reads "Display", and tap "Display Theme"
- -chose from "System Default", "Light", or "Dark."
Solution 2: Try different background combination
This purple line on iPhone effect is more visible if you have a pure dark background and the subject on the screen is a dark grey. To minimize the effect you can try different background with different colors.
