Many iPhone 12 users are reporting cracking issue in
the rear glass of the iPhone 12. The
iPhone 12 rear glass seems to be made of below average quality as the rear
glass gets cracks very easily even when placing the phones on smooth surface.
The issue is seen with the new iPhone as well. The glass has got cracks around
camera or corner of iPhone 12 after a week of use.

these issue and makes design changes in the glass to avoid easy accidental

"If the issue with your iPhone was caused by
certain damage (such as severe damage not covered by the Apple warranty or
AppleCare+), you might have to pay the full replacement value."
AppleCare Plus covers up to two accidental
damage replacements. Cost is $99 fir rear glass.Normal annual 12 month warranty
will not cover it but you may be offered a reduced price replacement phone.
