iOS 15 "iPhone Storage Almost Full" Warning not going away : iPhone 12/XS



After updating to the latest iOS 15 many iPhone user are getting warning related to storage full while there is a lot of space left in the iPhone. The iPhone storage almost full notification keeps on appearing in Settings "iPhone Storage Almost Full" warning after every 10 minutes and while Clicking the message does nothing and surely the iPhone has sufficient storage. 


False iPhone storage warning in iOS 15



This is weird as for one user the iPhone XS with 30 GB free memory is also showing this warning after iOS 15 "iPhone Storage Almost Full" whereas iPhone has enough space.  


This is a very annoying issue in the iOS 15he "iPhone Storage Almost Full" warning will not go away no matter how many times you will close it. Even after clearing more storage from iPhone the Storage full warning will not go and shown in Setting with 1 in red. The issue of iPhone showing wrong storage warning started after latest iOS 15 and all different iPhones including iPhone 13,12 , Pro Max, Mini, XR ,XS MAX are facing storage full issue in iOS 15.




How to fix iOS 15 "iPhone Storage Almost Full" Warning not going away : iPhone XS MAX, iPhone 12,11,13, XR 



Fix 1 : Hard Reboot the iPhone 


The annoying storage warning on iOS 15 could be fixed by a normal restart to the iPhone or you can try to hard reset the iPhone. The warning will go after the phone restart but the issue may reappear again after some time of use. 


Fix 2: Reset the iPhone


To fix the iPhone showing wrong storage full warning could be a glitch in the iPhone that could be fixed by a simple reset to iPhone. Please note since you have wipe out the data, so ensure to Back up your phone first to your Mac and iCloud and then do a reset. Go to Settings->General-> Reset-> Reset iPhone . you iPhone will reboot and after that you can restore back up from mac or iCloud. 




Fix 3: Try DFU Mode


To fix Wrong storage full warning on iOS 15, Some iPhone user are able to fix this warning by doing a full backup, DFU wiping and installing iOS 15.0.0 fresh again and then restoring the backup. Lean more about DFU mode here from official guide. 


Fix 4: Update to next iOS 15 version


Since the "iPhone Storage Almost Full" warning in iOS 15 is  a bug , therefore a permanent fix for the issue should be coming from Apple in next release of the iOS. Please wait for next iOS 15.0.1 release and update the iPhone as soon as possible.
