Many
iPhone 13,12 Pro Max users are facing issue with the Instagram app not working
properly for notification and the iPhone is not receiving any notifications
from Instagram. Notificactions from Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc. are not
working but only for Instagram the notification are not shown by the iPhone 13
and iPhone 12, iPad.

In

to fix the issue :
How to fix Instagram notification not working on iPhone 11/12/13 Pro Max and Instagram for iPad:
Fix : Make sure notification are turned ON.
During
a software update or migration of iPhone there are chance that the notification
setting on iPhone may have glitched. To fix that Go to settings> Notifications >
Instagram and make sure it’s turned on.
Fix :Logout and and delete the app
To
fix Instagram related permission issue in the iPhone 13, iPad, first logout
from the Instagram app, Try deleting the app, reboot the iPhone and installing Instagram
back and when it asks for notifications permission allow it

Log out of Instagram

Delete the app
3.
Go to settings and sign
out of your Apple ID entirely. You may get a notice saying signing out will
disable Find My iPhone. It's fine. Just sign out.

Go to the app store and
download Instagram again fresh from the store (it'll ask for your id and
password just for this download but it'll be a fresh download and not from
iCloud as you normally would if you were still signed in to your Apple ID.
Re-downloading the app from iCloud carries over the bug which is why it's
important to sign out of your Apple ID first.

Open Instagram and
you'll get a pop up that'll ask you want to allow notifications from Instagram.
Tap yes. Getting this pop up means you have fixed the problem. Notifications
should now be working properly.

You can sign back in to
your Apple ID.
Fix 3: Restore the iPhone with finder/iTunes
If
the Instagram notification stopped working after iOS 15update then we recommend
you to restore the iPhone using Finder

To
get Instagram notification on iPhone 12,13,iPad try third party app like
thread. Download thread, an app of Instagram that contains only dm, in not enough, but is a little upgrade.
Apart
from above fix we recommend you to keep updating the Instagram and iOS of
iPhone, iPadOS to the new version to get permanent fix for the software issue
which may cause such notification issue.
