In iOS 15 Apple have added many new feature including Live Text with the iPhone camera. This is really a cool feature that lets you scan any text from the camera and paste it anywhere like Whatsapp chat, message, browser etc. You can paste any text from anywhere by just scanning it. Many users are finding this tool as quick solution in typing. But recently many users are facing issue with Scan Text feature of the iPhone 12/ iOS 15.
The “Scan text” feature seems to be buggy and lots of user are facing trouble due to this. Scan Text is turning ON camera everytime, when you tap to copy/paste/select/etc it will always have “text from camera” as an option. The camera will start in place of keyboard and user have to close it manually which is annoying. This is annoying as camera will start in place of keyboard and the keyboard won’t come up in the iPhone, just the scan text option is there by default.

Fix : Turn off from Setting app
The Scan Text feature seems to be buggy in the latest iOS update but fortunately there is a setting present in iPhone that you can use to turn it off.
To turn off Scan Text from camera in iPhone, Go to iPhone’s Settings > General > Language & Region -> Turn off Live Text. After this the Scan text feature will be turned off and there will be no option to scan text from camera while pasting or selecting text in app of iPhone.

Fix : Update iOS
Since the issue in Scan text is introduced in the latest iOS update , so permanent fix for the issue will be provided by Apple in upcoming release. So to use the feature in normal way you should keep updating to latest iOS versions available.
