In this post we will
be explaining on how to do conditional formatting in Google Sheets bases on
cells value. You can use conditional formatting in Google Sheets to change the
format of a cell based on the value in another cell.
1. 1. Select
the cells you want to apply formatting to.
- Click on "Format" in the top
menu and select "Conditional formatting".
- In the "Format cells if"
section, choose the condition that you want to apply.
- In the value or formula section, you can either specify a value or reference another cell.
- To customize based on other cell value

- Now suppose you have to check F2 cell
to condition your value (eg if F2 is 1 then change colour to Green), then
type the formula as =$F2=1
- Click on the format you want to apply
like color and scale etc and then
click "Done".
