How to fix iPhone 14 No notification sound when locked ?

 iPhone 14 No notification sound when locked : iPhone 14 users are facing weird issue with their iPhone notification. The issue is related to notification sound not working in iPhone lock screen. The notifications arrives normally at iPhone but no sound is made.

The notification sound is normal when iPhone is unlocked, it is just when the iPhone 14 screen is lock, there is no sound played about notification. The issue is even reported with latest iOS 16, iOS 17 beta and there is no fix for the issue even in the latest updates. This is a serious issue as the iPhone 14 users are missing alarms, phone calls, calendar, events notifications, which is annoying.

 

How to fix iPhone 14 Lock screen notification sound not working ?

 

Fix : Turn off Share mode

One common reason for notification not play on iPhone is DND(do not disturb mode) is ON in iPhone. Please check if you have not turned it ON accidently. Settings - Messages - Turn Focus Off.

Fix : Turn off Bluetooth

 

For many users turning off the Bluetooth seems to fix notification issue in the iPhone 14. The notification works well even in locked screen when Bluetooth is off. Hopefully it will fix  iPhone 14 No notification sound when locked.  

 

Fix : Hard reboot the iPhone 14

 

The iPhone 14 lock screen notification not working in lock screen could be due to software glitch in the iPhone. The issue may occur while updating iPhone or due to changed settings. This can be fixed by hard rebooting the iPhone. Please follow Apple guide to know how to hard reboot iPhone.

 

If hard reboot does not work then please toggle notification settings and reboot iPhone.

On iPhone 14->Go to settings, message notifications and turn Allow notifications OFF.

Then shut your iPhone 14 off for a few seconds. Turn your phone back on.

Go back to settings, message notifications and turn Allow notifications back ON. After this the notification sound should work on iPhone 14 normally.
