Many iPhone users are getting “an invalid closure
message” while trying to open my gmail account. The issue is only with
iOS/iPhone/iPad devices with Google accounts. If you try to access the gmail in
safari browser it will simply return invalid Closure message in the address or
URL bar and nothing loads up on the screen. When you will try to open gmail in
Safari on iPhone, it cycles and tries to load and then gives the blank page page
with new URL ‘about:invalid%23zClosurez’.
iPhone safari invalid Closure redirect issue |
The message in the address bar on iPhone safari – “about:invalid%23zClosurez” is not understandable and difficult for users to access gmail or open any attachment to it. The iPhone userexpect it should redirect to the iOS app but it’s not redirecting and got the error
"about:invalid#zClosurez". The issue is seen across all the iPhone models like iPhone XR/XS Max/8 7 6s plus on iOS 12, the safari simply redirects to invalid closure url (about:invalid%23zClosurez). Even deleting caches, cookies, flush dns, change DNS servers does not seems to fix the issue.
The issue seems to be while accessing google products
like gmail, youtube, google + etc. Users are getting redirect while accessing
youtune video on safari and the page goes to invalid closure on iPhone always. The
issue looks like in google more than on iOS or iPhone as many other makes like
android, Samsung phones are affected with invalid closure error.
